Solution architecture

Separate user interaction, business decisions, and asynchronous work while keeping the first release manageable.

01

Application boundary

The client calls an authenticated API. The ticket routing module owns state transitions and authorization. Database writes and an outbox event commit together.

02

Asynchronous boundary

An outbox dispatcher sends events to the queue. Workers handle notifications and integrations with retry backoff, idempotency keys, and a dead-letter queue.

03

Trade-off

A modular monolith reduces operational overhead. Split services later where load, team ownership, or release cadence creates a clear need.

Security considerations

Security is considered as part of this architecture; verify the proposed controls during implementation.

Threats
Cross-boundary privilege escalation and insecure third-party integrations.
Controls
Document trust boundaries and data flows; require authenticated service calls, least privilege, and threat modeling for each integration.
Required verification
Before finalization: map requirements to verification cases; test cross-user and cross-tenant denial, abuse paths, failure behavior, and the controls above. Attach evidence, unresolved findings, and time-bound risk exceptions. No scans or consultation have been performed by generating this plan.
Review owners
Security architect + architecture owner; privacy and affected-domain owners where applicable. Review status: pending.
Cross-architecture dependencies
Confirm adjacent API, identity, data, infrastructure and operational contracts. If those views were not generated, record them as unresolved dependencies rather than assuming they are approved.

Ask about this blueprint

Read-only planning assistant. Answers use this blueprint, not live application data. Each question stands alone; messages stay in this page session and are cleared for a new blueprint. AI mode sends the question and blueprint to the configured model; avoid entering secrets.

A model connection enables AI answers; otherwise the guide returns relevant reference sections. It cannot execute tools, contact a human, or change application data.

Assumptions & decisions to confirm 4
  • Brief: Build a customer support platform that automatically routes tickets to the right team, tracks SLAs, and gives managers real-time visibility. Support 10,000 users with secure access.
  • A web application is assumed. Confirm actors, business rules, data sensitivity, and integrations before implementation.
  • Cloud-neutral component naming is selected; no cloud provider is assumed. Region, budget, traffic, retention, RTO, and RPO are not confirmed.
  • This starter uses a reusable reference pattern; validate its fit and replace assumptions with measured requirements.
